Introduction: All content, materials, graphics, multimedia, documents, publications, images, videos, webinars, and any other form of material (hereinafter referred to as the "Materials") are the sole property of the Institute of Risk Management or IRM India Affiliate as the case may be (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute"), except for any third-party materials included herein, where intellectual property (IP) ownership vests with the respective organization. All rights pertaining to our Materials, including, but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights, belong exclusively to the Institute.
Third Party IPR: The inclusion of materials originating from third parties within the Institute Materials or Digital Platforms managed or distributed by the Institute — such as publicly available reports, publications, multimedia content, images, and videos hosted — does not in any way signify the transfer of intellectual property (IP) rights to the Institute. These third-party materials have been included solely for non-commercial educational, illustrative, or informational purposes, and all intellectual property rights pertaining to them continue to reside solely and exclusively with their original owners or copyright holders. The Institute acknowledges and respects these rights, ensuring that ownership of such IP remains distinct and completely independent of the Institute's proprietary materials, while also ensuring that appropriate credit is duly attributed to the original sources and owners of the third party materials.
Reference: References to "Materials" specifically excludes any third-party materials, with all subsequent points applying solely to the Materials owned by the Institute.
Eligibility: Applicable to anyone who access to the Materials by way of 1) registration into the IRM's qualifications / programmes directly or through an organisation or 2) being an alumni member or 3) being a Faculty / Trainer / Coach preparing candidates for IRM's qualifications / programmes or 4) being a knowledge partner / advisory board member / ambassador / deputy chair / chair / community member / network member / any other role or 5) being a Client / Partner / Vendor / Affiliate of the Institute 6) usage of Materials from any resource portals or external platforms
Usage: Participants / Alumni / Clients / Faculty / Trainers / Members / Advisors / Partners/ Directors or anyone (hereinafter referred to as the "Person(s)") accessing these Materials are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Materials solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, public performance, or public display of or through the Materials is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by the Institute. Faculty teaching IRM's course (s) at the licensed approved University as part of the Approved Programme, cannot use the Materials for any independent (i.e. non IRM qualification / course) tuition / coaching / webinar / masterclass / orientation / workshop or any such activity for any other Programme of their University or other Universities or in their personal capacity except for the Approved Programme at the licensed approved University.
Prohibited Actions: Any Person shall not 1) modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Materials without the prior written consent of the Institute 2) use the Materials for creation / modification of any other course, programme, e-learning module, workshop, masterclass, orientation, address, or any such independent work 3) develop and/or deliver any enterprise risk management programmes and/or training, in any form whatsoever, similar and/or substantially similar to the Materials and IRM's qualifications / programmes 4) provide any know-how or technical assistance to any person or third party in relation to developing and/or delivering any enterprise risk management programmes and/or training, in any form whatsoever, similar and/or substantially similar to the Materials and IRM's qualifications / programmes
Non-transferability: The right to use the Materials is personal to the Person and is not transferable to any other person or entity. All persons are prohibited from renting, leasing, sub-licensing, or loaning the Materials to others.
Recognition: The Materials may contain proprietary notices (like copyright and trademark information). All persons shall not alter, deface, or remove such notices from any part of the Materials.
Liability: Any unauthorized use or distribution of the Materials may result in civil penalties and may be subject to criminal penalties against the Persons including claim of damages. The Institute reserves the right to pursue any and all available remedies for such unauthorized use.
Updates: The Institute may, from time to time, revise or update the Materials. You acknowledge and agree that the Institute is not obligated to notify them of, or provide them with, any updates.
