The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) is delighted to announce a significant enhancement in its Level 1 Foundation Examination policy, aimed at providing greater flexibility and support to candidates.
Effective 1st February, 2024, the fee for IRM’s Level 1 Global ERM Foundation Examination will now include coverage for three attempts, marking a positive shift in our approach to candidate success. Initially, the fee included exam fees for two attempts, with a re-sit fee applicable for the third attempt as per the Level 1 Re-sit Policy. It is important to note that this offering is exclusively available to new enrolments from February 1st, 2024 and forward.
“In a move aimed at easing the financial burden on our candidates and promoting a more inclusive learning environment, IRM India Affiliate is pleased to announce the waiver of the Level 1 Re-sit fee for the third attempt. This means that the Level 1 Examination fee will now cover the exam fees for three attempts. This decision reflects our commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment and ensuring that aspiring risk-intelligent leaders have the necessary support to achieve their goals. We believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, and this enhancement to the Level 1 Examination fee structure aligns with our mission to getting India risk-ready,” said Kosha Parekh, Director of Academics at IRM India Affiliate.
While the Level 1 Re-sit Fee for the third attempt is waived off, candidates who do not clear the Level 1 Examination within three attempts will need to re-enrol and pay the complete Level 1 Examination fee again.
Key highlights of the update:
Three Attempts Covered : Candidates enrolling on or after 1st February, 2024, will have the privilege of clearing the Level 1 Global ERM Examination within three attempts, all included in the standard enrollment fee
Level 1 Third Attempt Re-sit Fees Waived Off : Effective 1st February, 2024, the Level 1 Re-sit fees for the third attempt have been completely waived off.
Opportunity to Succeed : This update aims to provide candidates with a greater opportunity to succeed in IRM's Level 1 Global ERM Foundation Exam without worrying about incurring additional fees for re-examination.
